Visual artist born in Belgrade in 1975. She has lived and worked in Paris since 1999.

She graduated from the Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Versailles, then received her PhD from the University of Paris 8. Her doctoral thesis was published in french « Miodrag Mića Popović (1923-1996) » with the support of the French National Book Center, then was translated in Serbian and published by Orion Art in Belgrade in 2014, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.

As an artist, she has realized numerous solo exhibitions in Paris and Serbia, participated in numerous collective exhibitions throughout Europe.

She has been a member of The Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS) since 2008 and of the French Maison des Artistes.

In parallel with her work on the canvas, Milica found art jewelry as a new way to express her creativity. In 2013, she created her first jewelry collection and founded her own brand MITSI-PARIS.

She finds inspiration for jewelry in traditional motifs from the Balkans - especially in patterns from the Pirot kilim-rugs, ornaments on Serbian medieval frescoes, but also the cosmic phenomena. Milica's poetic universe is reflected in her creations, and her Slavic soul gives them a special aura, inviting us to travel and dream.

Milica creates under the great influence of old traditions and cultural heritage of Serbia. Her great-grandfather was one of the most prominent writers in Serbia and Yugoslavia - Bora Stanković, so she inherited her fascination with the local language, customs and culture from him.
